FRESNO – Las Vegas fun is coming to Fresno! Sip & Savor “Las Vegas Style” will be held on Saturday, March 18 from 6:30 to 11 pm at the Save Mart Center at 2650 E. Shaw Ave. on the Fresno State campus. Sip & Savor is the Valley’s newest food and beverage tasting event benefiting the UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program.
“UCSF Fresno is the largest physician-training program between Sacramento and Los Angeles,” said Michael W. Peterson, MD, associate dean at UCSF Fresno. “This fundraiser supports all of our teaching, research, patient care and public service programs. These pillars represent our mission and are the foundation for the exceptional and cutting-edge UCSF medical care that we provide in the San Joaquin Valley.”
Sip & Savor will include specialty food and beverage tastings featuring local culinary artisans, a wide array of wine and beer, plus a dinner buffet, live music, dancing, casino style gaming for fun, live auction packages and much more.
Nearly 40 vendors are already on the menu, including Ampersand Ice Cream, Bella Pasta, Casa de Tamales, Community Regional’s Café Pistachio, Cupcakes Bakery, Dai Bai Dang, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, El Torito, Giuseppe Gallo’s, Jack’s Urban Eats, Liv’s Donuts, Love & Garlic, Co., Maw n’ Paw BBQ, Mediterranean Restaurant, Nothing Bundt Cakes, The Biscotti House, Tacos & Taps, The Sushi Table, Toledo’s Mexican Restaurant, Vino Grille & Spirits, 559 Beer, Engelmann Cellars, Fresno State Winery, Full Circle Brewing, Kings River Winery, Mad Duck Craft Brewing, Maréchal Vineyards, Moravia Wines, O’Neill Vintners & Distillers, Ramos Torres Winery, Riley’s Brew Pub, San Joaquin Wine Company, Sequoia Brewing Company, Stefanelli Distributing since 1951, Tactical Ops Brewery, TeQava Sparkling Agave Wine, Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company, Two Dude’s Brewery and Vino & Bling. Tickets are $100 per person and $1,000 per table of 10. Proceeds benefit UCSF Fresno’s physician-training programs, research projects, recruitment of outstanding faculty physicians to care for Valley community members and to teach the next generation of doctors as well as programs that help students prepare for careers in health and medicine among many other public service projects.
