Hobbies, facts and interests
Outside of the hospital, I take advantage of those golden weekends either hiking or cruising along the California coast with family and friends. I’m a smoothie juice enthusiast who enjoys fitness, meditating, reading, and listening to music and podcasts.
Why Fresno?
Quite simply, the people. I immediately felt the camaraderie among the residents, fellows, and faculty when I arrived. The blend of collegiality, community, and diverse patient care were qualities that resonated with me. UCSF Fresno offered high volume, vast pathology, and the autonomy to build and shape my skills as a new physician with a support system of leaders to lean on when needed. Plus, the location! I’m an avid adventure seeker and traveler, so having national parks on our doorstep like Yosemite and Sequoia National Park were high on my differential for choosing UCSF Fresno.
