Why did you choose OBGYN?
Obstetrics and gynecology, unlike any other specialty, is truly multifaceted, combining my passion for medicine, surgery, and preventative care cohesively. To serve as doctor and confidante during such a miraculous yet delicate milestone, navigate the intricacies of important surgical procedures, or empower my patients through their own health education are moments I look forward to the most as an OBGYN.
Why do OBGYN at UCSF Fresno?
From the initial virtual open house to my conversations with residents and program leaders on my interview day, it became evident that I found the perfect program for me. UCSF Fresno is a close-knit community where faculty are actively involved in teaching and mentoring, and residents share a special camaraderie that is truly unmatched. As the sole referral center within a 100-mile radius, serving underserved women across rural and urban communities near my home and support system was also very important to me. Looking ahead, I am excited for the comprehensive training, abundant opportunities and immense personal development that awaits me.
Hobbies/Facts/Interest
I was born and raised in Southern California, and previously completed one year of internal medicine residency before joining the OBGYN family at UCSF Fresno. Outside of my life as a resident, I enjoy maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. You can often find me at the gym or taking a peloton ride, exploring the latest restaurants, coffee shops or bakeries, or simply enjoying time with my partner, family, and friends.
