Why Fresno?
I was drawn to UCSF Fresno to experience academic medicine with research opportunities while working in a community hospital setting. Getting the best of both worlds provides ample opportunity to learn the most effective methods of caring for our important and diverse patient population. It’s a privilege to care for the people of the San Joaquin Valley. Additionally, the city of Fresno is delightful, and it is amazing to be near Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks.
