Why did you choose OBGYN?
I chose OB GYN because of the wide range of services you are able to provide within women’s health. Having the opportunity to be both a surgeon and a primary care physician is deeply humbling. I am given the privilege to work with a unique patient population and celebrate some of their most memorable days with them. My special interests include high risk populations specifically within underserved communities.

Why do OBGYN at UCSF Fresno?
Short answer is simply Fresno is home for me and my family. The long answer is that Fresno provides a diverse group of socioeconomic backgrounds. Fresno provides diversity in pathology, patients, and languages. UCSF Fresno continues to provide a challenging but educational training experience that serves the central valley. I will leave this last line as a shameless plug that the weather here is pretty nice come winter time!

Hobbies/Facts/Interests
I am originally from Chicago, but my fiancée was born and raised in Fresno. I love listening to all kinds of music and going to concerts. I enjoy sports, whether it is watching or playing. I love camping, hiking, and exercising. However, my biggest love is to travel as much as I can!
