As the Clinical Research Coordinator, Jannet is responsible for continuing faculty research endeavors throughout the department, where she currently oversees 50+ ongoing research projects. As the Academic Research Associate Coordinator, Jannet works in tandem with CSU Fresno to provide undergraduate students with hands-on experience in emergency medicine research.

Jannet was born in East LA and grew up in Dos Palos. She graduated from California State University, Fresno with a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and Sociology, and a minor in Mathematics. She also received a certificate in Applied Sociological Research from Fresno State. Before UCSF Fresno, Jannet worked at the Fresno American Indian Health Project as the Quality Improvement Coordinator where she led community advisory board meetings and implemented program initiatives. In her free time, Jannet loves to cook and enjoys backpacking.
