Why did you choose OBGYN?
I chose OBGYN because I enjoy normalizing the “awkward” or “taboo” topics that come up with reproductive health and justice so that patients can feel comfortable making whatever decisions they choose. I also enjoy the variety of procedures from gynecological surgery to labor and delivery.

Why do OBGYN at UCSF Fresno?Teaching high school in the San Joaquin Valley prior to medical school, connects me with the diverse communities of the Central Valley. I believe the exposure to the high volume of diverse patient cases at Fresno would allow me to become a well rounded and competent OBGYN. I also love that is it a community center with an academic connection to UCSF. While I am from LA, I’ve lived in many parts of California and am grateful to continue to serve communities here.

Hobbies/Facts/InterestI enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and water activities, cosplaying at anime/comic conventions, video and board games, karaoke, Star Wars and other nerdy fandoms, watching too many TV series, and trying new restaurants.
