Hobbies, Facts, & Interests
My wife and I have two children who keep us plenty busy. Being a dad during residency can be tough but I love it so much and wouldn’t have it any other way. With my family I try to get out and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Volleyball, swimming, and hiking are some of the things I love to do. Perhaps my favorite hobby that keeps me grounded and loving life is gardening. It gets me enjoying some fresh air every day and is a way I get to spend more time with my kids.

Why Fresno? 
​I chose to come to Fresno for several reasons. The scope of the residency here is wide and I want my OMFS training to be beyond what I see myself doing after residency. On my externship I saw that the attendings genuinely care about the patients and residents. On top of all that, my extended family lives not far from Fresno and it is great to be able to stay connected. Fresno also has many beautiful outdoor attractions just a short drive away. Lastly, I love the heat.
