Hobbies, fun facts and interests
I love traveling and exploring a new city or country through food, outdoor adventures and sightseeing brings some of the richest experiences I’ve had, though I am partial to beach vacations. Coffee is likely my biggest weakness and I am always in search for a great latte. I also am a big proponent of caring for my wellness through meditation and exercise and you can catch me at any of the latest fitness classes, doing yoga, running outside, playing golf or hiking. I am a huge animal lover and spend as much time as I can with my dog, Kiwi. When I am not doing any of those things, I love catching up on the latest TV shows and podcasts and spending time with family and friends.
Why Fresno?
As a California native, being close to my family and friends was very important to me. The psychiatry program stood out because of how warm and tight-knit the program was. It was clear from the very beginning that the program prioritizes resident education, training and well-being. The training is fantastic, with rich patient diversity and a variety of training environments, and the ability to pursue any of your professional interests. But what makes this program a real gem is undoubtedly the people. Everyone is incredibly intelligent, welcoming and true joys to be around!
