Hobbies, fun facts and interests.
I am at my happiest when I am surrounded by family and friends (even better if we're all eating good food). After work, you'll typically find me watching TV with my partner, cat and pup, or trying out a new restaurant. I love a good pickleball match, double bogeying on the golf course, spending time in nature, and creating short films about important moments in life. When my wallet and time allows, I'll probably head to the nearest big city to catch one of my favorite bands in concert.  I've also recently picked up running, which, if you had told me 10 years ago, I would have laughed and asked if you were joking.

Why Fresno?
A strong sense of community fills my cup, and I felt that UCSF Fresno was just the right place for that. I haven't spent much time in Fresno, but through the interview process and talking with residents, I quickly learned how special this program is. Residents frequently described it as a "hidden gem," and so far, it's lived up to the name. It was also extremely important to me to choose a community-based program with a diverse patient population, and Fresno easily fits the bill. This is an educationally driven, small and tight-knit program, which places a strong emphasis on resident well-being. Ultimately, it was the best fit,  and I couldn't be more satisfied with my decision. Plus, there's Ampersand.
