Hobbies, fun facts and interests
I enjoy fishing (fresh and saltwater), playing soccer, hiking in national parks, camping, radio rental podcast, and long road trips to new places.

I took a honeybee biology class in undergrad and spent a semester at an apiary. My wife and I love trying different honeys (especially orange blossom) and plan to own a couple beehives in the future!

Why Fresno?
My professional goals are community-oriented and involve working with veterans, Spanish-speaking patients, underserved populations, and having opportunities to uncover new interests within the field of psychiatry. My wife and I also looked for a program where we could afford to raise a family and a place that aligns with our hobbies/interests.

UCSF Fresno Psychiatry checked off all the boxes and has been outstanding in continuing to demonstrate that they care about my training and the well-being of not just myself, but my wife as well! The faculty and staff are amazing and supportive.

Fresno is surrounded by gorgeous national parks, offers rich diversity, affordable, and family friendly. Lastly, there is a true need for psychiatrists in this region and it's a great feeling to know that you will be helping meet that demand.
