Why Fresno:
High patient volume, varied pathologies, procedural opportunities, level 1 trauma center, excellent reputation, good off-service rotations, association with EMS and wilderness medicine entities. Fresno also stuck out because of proximity to family, ocean, mountains, and amazing national parks. Plus everyone I met during the interview day was so welcoming.
