Rotations

Fellows will evaluate new consults at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and will be assigned to continuity hepatology clinic at UGHA and Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) mirroring the hepatology attending schedule. Encounters are inpatient and outpatient in nature. Fellows provide consultative care under the supervision of an attending within duty hour limits and with faculty and nurse practitioner back-up for situations of high patient volumes. Daily, in-house attending supervision is available Monday-Friday, and in-house supervision is available after hours in emergency cases. Hepatology attending is available for over the phone supervision 24/7. The attending has ultimate responsibility for patients.
